Why Me?

I wonder this...why me? I think we all do. I've read many stories, watched the videos from the girls on You Tube. It just doesn't seem fair. I am an educated woman who would make a great mother someday. As I have this conversation in my head from time to time, the thought above gets interrupted quickly with another part of my mind that tells me that this is not a totally disabling condition unless I let it be so.

So what I am trying to say is that we all have choices in how we interpret this condition and its effect on our lives.

Lots of couples who fully planned to have families before they got married or went into a long term relationship discover that they cannot have their own children. This in and of itself can be quite devastating. MRKH girls have the unique knowledge that having biological kids is not likely a possibility for us.

Notice that above I said "biological." Some of us can harvest our eggs and have invitro and a surrogate. There are others of us who may choose adoption as a way to create our family.
The best thing of all: families come in all kinds of arrangements. It's about love, so make your family as you want it to be. If anyone judges you or thinks less of you for that, they have a problem they need to deal with.

You may be single, in a relationship, married...it doesn't matter as long as you are happy.
